Thanks for the info cutty. Not sure what I'll do. Want to test drive the vw & volvo this weekend.

Are those side steps power or push?

I'm guessing the "automatic" makes 'em power unless there's some mechanical connection between the door and step.

Power and lit with LEDs. These are a necessity with this truck. Even with my inseam I have to use the step to get in and out of this truck. I just hated the look of those shiny stock ones. And, the permanent steps didn't make sense to me on something this tall - why have it that tall if you have something that is going to potentially catch on crap?
