Ok...couldn't justify the HD jacket (fit and price).

RS Taichi - http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=5524

Any thoughts on Icon and specifically the Accelerant (not the preforated one)?

RS Taichi is one of the only brands I know with an athletic fit. Everyone else seems like they're trying to be all urban/loose fit.

Those are still $400 each

I have the Accelerant both perf and non-perf. It's a great jacket and very tough. My non-perf has seen 3 crashes and still looks great.

I can deal with $400 if its a solid jacket. Its around what I I paid for my Alpine Stars years back.

That $600+ FXGR was pushing it.

i have this in black naked.
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...In-Jacket.aspx

it's been good so far, nice liner. extra protection in elbow and shoulder and a back pad.
looks a little weird in the pic. the stitching is not that noticeable once you're wearing it.

I've keep revisting that one...good price...decent enough features. Not big on the look but not really against it. Its on the short list.

What temperature range has that jacket done well in?

It says "non-tapered design".........i.e. it's not gonna fit you dude. You work out too much. By the time you find the size big enough to fit your shoulders, it's going to be too baggy in the waist. I.e. not holding any warmth in.

Get the RS Taichi.

good point.

The only problem with the RS Taichi I found is that it has perforated panels.
(the issue is rain...)
