Man you are little! Hopefully Derf has some loot.

Homeslice 12-29-2009 09:16 PM

Ted is a standup guy, I knew him back when he was still in Cali

And how is a size 54EU suit "little"? That's pretty much the average American. "Little" would be a size 48EU maybe.

101lifts2 12-29-2009 09:20 PM

Dude, when did u move to GA? I thought you were in Victorville, CA, no?

Why are you selling all your gear?

Yeah Ted is cool...honest dude.

derf 12-29-2009 10:40 PM

I'm happy with my flower power helmet

My 1 piece is fine, don't need a new one

Got my new jacket earlier in the year

Nope don't need gloves either

Boots are the wrong size

Just bought a new back protector this year too

How much for the camera?

I moved in August, thought I told ya...I don't ride hardly at all anymore. This place aint like Cali, plus this stuff is just sitting here collecting dust and might as well go to a fellow rider that could use some quality gear, and I could use the money. And I am selling the bike also, once I get the title back from the DMV

I wouldn't say I am an average American :pat: That suit fit perfect, and I'm 5'10" 180.

BTW, what's up Hans? Need anything here?

I think you said you may move to GA..so yeah.

I may be interested in the suit, but its blue and I may buy a Green ZX6r 09 this weekend (its 7900 otd). How much was the suit? I think a 44 should fit me. Is this the Japan leather or Brazil? How old is it?

Homeslice 01-01-2010 02:23 AM

Isn't there a lot of good riding in north Georgia, not to mention TN?

I got it for $1499 and I have worn it only twice, I got it in July...so it's basically brand new. It is Japanese cowhide, with silkscreen graphics

The riding here is very good, but it's like a 2/3 hour ride up the highway.

Carolina 01-01-2010 10:28 AM

GA is no Cali but after it warms up around March, u can ride all year long until bout NOV,DEC , but if u need the loot there will be a million bikes on craiglist later. good luck

Best-looking suit in the world, IMO. Silk-screened graphics instead of stitched-on pieces of leather FTW.

I would say, not because I have it, this suit is THE best suit for the money...and right up there with the best you can buy

I carefully picked all these items out, some may argue, but when it comes down to it, this is the best of the best...economy is bad now, people are out of jobs, but when you ride your local favorite canyon you got to ask yourself "Am I protected in case of a get-off"

These are in new or like new condition, so you are getting your money's worth

Cutty72 01-08-2010 06:14 PM

Is the back protector a race or tour version?

101lifts2 01-09-2010 03:20 AM

Ted that is a real nice suit. Real nice.

I bought a black ZX6r 09, so I may be interested in the suit, since blue doesn't matter. I need to try one of these on somewhere.

If you weren't so little I would have taken the gloves! Held makes some great gloves and these are the right color too! The only thing I question your "best of the best" statement on are the boots. I still believe that the Pumas or even the Dainese boots are superior. Just imho of course.

It's the longer race version

Go to the RS Taichi website and they have official dealers, I know there is one down in San Diego off Miramar Rd that sells them.

You might be right, but those boots are pretty good though

Homeslice 01-09-2010 11:35 PM

PUMA might be good boots, I don't know, but I just can't get over the fact that they look like a cross between 1978 Imperial Stormtrooper boots and entry-level ski boots at a rental shop.

Yeah, I'll do that soon. My bud uses that suit and says its the best suit for the money.

Homeslice 01-11-2010 09:02 PM

That place is called Cycle Sector. But there's another place called Terra Powersports in City of Industry that has it too

Damn, thinking that would be rather uncomfortable for the flat and straight we have, and I don't get to the track enough to need a race one.

Walking around...yes, you might feel the extra length, but tucked in a riding position, you can't feel it at all...it's light and "contoured" to fit your back

Inferno 01-12-2010 04:01 PM

Also I'd like to add, the gear I am selling is my best gear. I have my "Old" gear I am keeping in reserve if and when I get back into riding

I mostly commute, and am not usually "tucked" per se.

By the look on the vid it was pretty long, and I'm on the short side of needing a large (5'9")

If you are riding in a Jacket a Jeans communting, this might not be good(Maybe a bit too long), but it does provide better protection for the tailbone.

ericr 01-13-2010 03:55 PM

Damn, if I could lose 20-25lbs real quick I could wear some of that gear! So where in Smyrna are you Inferno?

If you end up not selling the bike, there are good roads less than an hour from you right around this area without going all the way to N GA mts. Let me know when the weather warms up if you want to get out and I'll show you around some good close areas.

I'm off east/west connector near highlands but I'm moving out to Roswell in a few weeks.

Yep, went on a ride a few months ago up to N Ga and N.C., very nice roads up there, very comparable to the roads in San Diego...they are just so far out there
