Honda Fury
I'm not a huge fan of the cruiser, v-twin, raked front end, chopper, but the new Honda Fury is a really pretty bike. Honda has created a 1300 cc v-twin that looks like a chopper from one of the custom shops, with the exception that it is shaft drive, with ABS. I imagine it rides like every other v-twin, but it is very pretty.

It's the same motor as what's in my VTX1300C, only difference is that it's fuel injected and therefore easier to tune with aftermarket stuff. Good looking bike tho.

I dont like it. It looks cheap and stupid. ANd no thanks on that shaft drive.

I'm with marko.
If I wanted a Harley, I'd buy a Harley. Not a clone. Would have been cool to see them take it serious and drop a huge engine in it. |
I like it. It looks just as good or better than any harley on the market, and minus a few very small stick on badges nobody would ever know you were riding a honda

The problem with "choppers" is people don't buy them for functionality or reliability or even a nice ride. They buy them for image and this defeats the purpose of that because it doesn't have two words on the side of the bike. You can make the most reliable piece of machinery with all the best options , cheap enough for anyone to purchase, and look like the megan fox of motorcycles, but the d-bags that buy the most of this type of bike would never buy it because it didn't say Harley Davidson on the side.
People who want a functional reliable motorcycle for actually riding usually don't buy choppers. |

While not a Chopper fan I have seen a couple of them at the local dealer. It looks like well made and thought out factory "Custom" Having ridden shaft on Honda's Yamaha's and BMW's if it has to be a shaft I will take the Honda. I may be wrong but my hunch is that this goes in the same category as the Rune. A nice bike that they will sell few of but it will get them into the show room where they will ride our on some less expensive Honda

This bike looks good for a Honda imho. I would want a bigger motor though. If I was going to buy a "clone" Harley I like the Star Raider and the Victory Vegas Jackpot. |

This bike is like the Hummer H3 of choppers.....you'd be too embarrased to go anywhere except shopping malls.

I like the bike (I own the machine that it came from) I think Honda should've used the VTX 1800 as the base platform instead of the VTX 1300. Although it is on the back side of the chopper craze I believe that it'll sell decently just not wonderfully. Time will tell. And for a few hundred bucks you could probably have the plastic bits replaced with real steel bits from a fab shop. But I would seriously buy another VTX instead of the Fury, IMO the only thing the Fury has on a VTX is the chopper style and fuel injection (over the VTX1300).

I wonder how many bikers will actually buy the "Furby".
