Kids electric scooters.....any experience?
Anyone have any experience with one of these?

My only thought is to make sure and purchase plenty of armor to go with it.
That said, I'd opt for the bigger battery model, less $ in the long run. |

I have a bit of experience with them. If you fully charge the battery (s) before using it, it shouldn't be a problem. I would be completely shocked if it actually did 15mph, but they do go fast enough to hurt ya. Ours was gps'd @ 12mph with a full charge.
When my son was 10 we got him one, and it lasted less than 30 days before being ripped apart and "upgraded". It has since been renamed "La patineta de la muerte" |
:lol
That's why I'm considering getting the bigger one despite it being for my little girly girl 9yr old. She's got plenty of gear from her roller blades....poor child looks like a goalie for pro hockey when she skates  |
My son has one and still has all his limbs! He's 8 now, got it for Christmas last year.

Get her a dirtbike, to hell with the gay scooter!

If you are concerned about speed, it should be easy enough to mod to slow it down...
Me personally, I'd try to build my own... with a B&S E-Tek motor... |
Or maybe something more reasonable powered by a Magmotor...
