Leipers Fork Ride Sunday afternoon?
 

Drewpy and I are going to be out Sunday afternoon if anyone is up for a run.

Looking at meeting at Puckett's at 1:30.

hate to say it but if that ride is this sunday as in tomorrow drewp's not going to make it. He's picking me up at the airport at 1:45 (or somewhere round there when my plane lands.


But if ya push it back a lil later he/we might be able to make it:wink:

hmm... this is what i see happening.

1:45 plane scheduled to land
2:10 plane actually lands
2:45 PC finds luggage.
3:05 Drewp finds PC :lol:
4:00 Drewp gets PC home, "welcome home" time begins
4:01:38 drewp is done and "cuddle time" begins :lol:
5:30 supper
7:00 finally ready to ride.

Sucky rain. I'll be out regardless unless there are dead worms and frogs all over the roads.

last night was a great time at the gap until the chemical spill on 40, i didnt get home till 4 am, so its pick up pc, sleep like a champ for 4 days..

i got some good pics on killboy, im out for this weekend, but ill be game some other time for sure

Actually, since the roads were kinda moist at first, I took the Uly out on some muddy dirt roads. It was great! You guys would have hated it!

Sunday afternoon seems to be my designated ride time. Weather permitting, I'll be out there next week as well.

what kind of tires do you run that are good in mud and at the gap?

fair enough... tho when i think riding in the mud, i'm thinking like moto cross type stuff.

It's not miles and miles of that runny, soupy stuff. That would suck. That's where you WOULD need knobby tires. With nearly all wet gravel, lightly muddy conditions, you don't have to have a tread that is as aggressive.

It's funny how sticky the tires feel once you get back on pavement.

Ft Bessy, Hey If you called and I missed it then sorry dude. I would have been up for a ride but we will have to plan on at least next Sunday. If you didn't call then go fuck yourself I guess... = ) As to the Gap, It seems someone mentioned that last week... I'm in need of more communication before I slit my wrist and turn the bike on in the garage waiting to slip into sweet silence.

I'll be out next week. Maybe cuddle time will be over for Drewpy by then.

Now were talking, You know I would like to hit Coconut Bay Thursday night in M-Boro. I have never been there for the 3rd Thursday but I hear there are a ton of bikes. Anyone down for that one? Other than that, I am all in on a ride this weekend rain or shine.

I will probably be riding, but keeping it close to home because I have too much wedding shit to do and indy to prep for, so if I take any gap trips it will be a last minute kind of thing.
