Not sure I'd be too keen on having my girls NAME on the bike :idk: .......But I'm weird like that, in a black helicopter kinda way :lmao:

CrazyKell 03-01-2010 03:48 PM

It's her bike and she wanted her name on it. :idk:

Rider 03-01-2010 03:52 PM

Hey Lon, I got a spare seat cowl that would fit that bike. It's blue but you can always paint it. Let me know. I also have OEM levers if you need spares.

Yea I don't know...it was my idea... I thought it was cute, maybe not. Meh, it's vinyl and removes easily enough. I did the heel guards free hand!

Thanks Bro, what do you want for em? It's always good to have spare parts.

Homeslice 03-01-2010 03:55 PM

A barbie decal? Really??

Oh well, I'm glad to see it doesn't have as much pink as you originally thought it would a few months ago.

Free for the levers. Seat cowl ... $20 plus shipping. It would probably be no more than $10 to ship since they are fairly light.

I'm just thinking it's a segway into a conversation by some random guy (if you're not around) with your girl :idk:

What is she precious cargo that can't shut down a conversation if need be?

Like you said, it's vinyl and can come off.

That's not her name, it is her favorite singer.

Gas Man 03-01-2010 07:02 PM

YEA!

Pics need to include her on the bike!

MissHell 03-01-2010 07:25 PM

I was scared to open the thread and see the pics... but it looks good. Not overly done.

Good. At least you didn't douche it up by painting that shit on there... Seen that before... Fuck you Robbie D, fuck you.

Yea, when she originally asked me to help her mod the bike, I suggested vinyl for that very reason...it comes off. She gets tired of guys calling her name she can take it off. The bottom line is that she's a reasonably attractive girl that goes to college and works in the public...she gets hit on daily. My thing is that considering my attitude towards relationships in general and their transitory nature...Well, let's leave it at I don't worry about it a lot.

Thanks, I think the front is slightly busy but not too bad... Besides, we're going to Daytona in a couple days so the louder the better!:rockwoot:

Particle Man 03-01-2010 09:28 PM

not as much pink as I expected.

OK, that's funny!

Well done.

tached1000rr 03-01-2010 09:43 PM

looks good to me but I like when women put a feminine touch on their bike

njchopper87 03-01-2010 11:02 PM

Looks great. I like that she went with pink highlights over an entirely pink bike. There's a pink car buzzing around here and it looks like shit.

HokieDNA01 03-01-2010 11:53 PM

I like everything but the giant Barbie logo. I would have to laugh if I saw that ride by. Then again I ride a black/silver GSXr with a BITCH sticker on the helmet. To each there own.

psychochild28 03-01-2010 11:57 PM

Pretty sharp looking bike but I agree with Hokie the barbie thing kinda makes me laugh. But I'm not into pink either :idk:

Yea well you girls don't look like Barbie and she does... Eh, it's a nickname she's had since she was little. :idk:
Again it can be peeled off so why not? Not everything has to be serious. Sometimes you just want to have fun with your bike. Like me and the Jordan thing...I guess you never know who you might offend. :sorry:

Cutty72 03-02-2010 12:57 PM

Looks good, though for some reason the heal guards look a bit out of place. :idk:

Agree about the front being "slightly busy" and Daytona but overall...nice job man.

Oh and I'm not sure if I mentioned this but I had all the stickers made to cover the existing vinyl so...rip, rip, rip and it's back to stock. Not to mention the entire mods are still under $300 including the exhaust.

Dave 03-02-2010 04:56 PM

man, the red for the suzuki and displacement badges really pops! Bike looks good man, now you gotta send her instrument cluster out for an led swap. Dunno if they can do pink though

I was thinking this too but thought was maybe it was the lighting/camera phone.

I'm glad she scaled back the pink. I think this is very tasteful.

Yea, I hate to say it but MAYBE a little more pink may be in order... Just to tie it all together, of course.

Might not be all bad. In the end, it is her bike and if she likes it that is all that matters.
