Given that they have installed 205's on the front and 235's on the back, no......They might have made it even worse.

And black wheels are so 1999 riceboy.

Mikey 09-23-2009 09:59 AM

Gay. They should be stabbed for calling something with a 9-second 0-60 time "Ultimate R".

Not all of them unless you mean the all black wheels like the ones on this particular car.

Black wheels with a polished lip look killer in many applications imho.

I thought the point of a smart car was fuel economy?

pauldun170 09-23-2009 10:27 AM

"Km"

Best way to make a slow peice of shit seem fast on paper.

Switch that MPH to Km

instant road rocket

Common misconception.
It's designed for city dwellers (areas with limited parking).
The point of it IS the small size so it takes up a the minimum amount of space.
MPG is not the point of the car.

From an "enviromental" impact, it good because its minimalist...or something

 Yeah back in the early 80's I was in Okinawa, Japan and took a car out on the Expressway and topped it out at 178 kph and later learned it was only about 111 mph. :lol

Left hand drive car...driving on the left side of the road as they do in Japan and running the little Mazda for all it was worth...gotta love it. :wtfru:

So is a name like "Ultimate R" :lol

Seems like the O-ring tires and sport suspension (not looking like a lot of room for travel there) would make for a pretty nasty ride on potholed urban streets.

Sixxxxer 09-23-2009 11:20 AM

It still looks like shit no matter how fast it is

But how many have a polished lip? Only people with taste buy those.......And there aren't many people with taste. People withOUT taste buy 100% black wheels, like the ones on this car.

It isn't even an Ultimate Smart. Any of the Busa engined Smart cars are more "Ultimate" than the Brabus.

Homeslice 09-23-2009 09:31 PM

The Fiat Abarth/500 I posted a couple weeks ago would walk all over this.

neebelung 09-23-2009 10:24 PM

Saw one at the mall (as in parked in the mall) a few weeks back. Surprisingly cute...

I thought bikes were awesome long before I was ever able to swing a leg over one. I don't understand how anyone who ever rode a bicycle as a kid didn't at some point think "This thing would kick ass with a motor". Maybe it was just a few of us though.

Jealousy over the fact that bikes can blow away pretty much any car he comes up with, plus split thru traffic.
