I used to think there were a lot of idiots on message boards...

But it seems like every idiot is on facebook!! And I just baited most of them with a big hook. :lol

If it appeals to the masses, it's usually based on the lowest common denominator. When I see people gravitate to something en-masse, I take heed.

...and usually head straight in the other direction, where I can observe (and laugh) from a safe distance.

Facebook is nothing more than "hey look at me".

Cruzergirl 01-31-2010 06:09 PM

 I've been able to find old friends from over 20 years ago. If you don't let random people in, what's the problem?

Truth. I've gotten in touch with several people I haven't spoken with since HS through Facebook and Myspace. Could I have gone the rest of my life without ever reconnecting? Certainly... but it was nice to catch up with some of them.

Charging money on any so called 'social network' site is sure to send the people packing.

Charge it only if people use videos or music.

t-homo 02-01-2010 11:46 AM

Look at people straying from youtube with them playing ads before some videos.

Use both for what? You make them automatically start when someone loads your page? Shit makes it take forever.
