March 2010 PotM Winner: AskMrJesus

Please join me in congratulating this month's winner of the POTM Contest - AskMrJesus... no poll this month, since his was the only entry that was his own photo, but I'd say it's a very worthy winner, representing the theme of Ugliest Bike!

all i know about them is they used to have a flash game on their site where you had to catch bottles to make girls strip. I think i still have the .swf backed up somewhere

Homeslice 03-03-2010 11:02 AM

That beer is total skunk.............but I don't think the bike is "ugly"

You want ugly, try basically any Katana.

Do you try to be gay? Is it hard, or does it come naturally?

Who the fuck knows what an 80's Katana looked like? Shit, I didn't even know one existed. I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE MODERN ONES, THE ONLY ONES MOST NORMAL PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT.

Actually I do, and Pilsner Urquel is crap unless you like tons of bitter hops. I don't. I nearly always drink a hefeweizen of some sort.

Actually, you don't.

Pilsner Urquel uses Checz Saaz hops, which are around 3.8% Alpha.

One of the least bitter hops in the world.

It's still shitty beer. But coming from someone who drinks Hefe's, he probably thinks bud light is bitter. :lol

Homeslice 03-03-2010 01:58 PM

Um, ok.

Like you knew that without googling it?

Whatever KIND of hops it has, it's still one of the most bitter beers I've ever tasted.

What can I say? I don't drink nasty shit to prove how manly I am. I drink shit that actually tastes good.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, I'm sure you've had it? It's one of the better mass produced beers out.

If we're going to google, here are some Pilsner Urquell reviewers:

http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1/429

"a good bitterness that stays a while."

"This is one bitter beer, but pretty refreshing."

"Taste - well...the beer is SO hoppy it's a bit out of balance. If the hops were cut down just a bit this beer would be perfect."

"The strong "euro skunk" flavor (as I like to call it) is the first thing I taste and it comes in strong."

"Crisp and smooth with a strong hop bitterness. Malts are and sweeten the brew somewhat. The finish is dry and leaves the mouth kinda numb and bitter"

The skunkiness of that beer is just simply from it being in a green bottle. Light makes beer skunky and all beer in a green bottle is skunky. There is no getting around it.

So what about Molson, Labatts, Rolling Rock, or Corona? They're all in green or clear bottles last I checked, but I wouldn't call them skunky.

I guess maybe it's because that Czech shit sits on the shelf forever before anyone buys it

HurricaneHeather 03-03-2010 03:48 PM

Homeslice....Hefeweizens are girl beers.

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

Yes those are all shitty skunky beers except molson and labatts, comes in brown bottles but still shitty.

Don't forget to add Heiniken, Lowenbrau, Becks, and Micky's to the shitty beer list.

Homeslice 03-03-2010 03:59 PM

Dude.........a beer has to have at least some flavor before it can be skunky. Corona barely has any flavor.

I have never seen a Molsons or Labbatts product in a clear or green bottle. Only brown.

Homeslice 03-03-2010 04:53 PM

Hmm guess I'm out of touch......I remember Molson being green 15-20 yrs ago.

This is exactly why I don't buy beer based on the recommendations of online beer raters.

The strong "smell of bullshit" (as I like to call it) is the first thing I noticed about this guy.

Euro beers all have skunk flavor? This guy is clearly racist.

Ok, it's not ugliest bike I've ever seen, but it was definitely the ugliest bike I had a picture of.

To be honest, if they gave it to me, I'd ride it for a week and part it out.
