I'll be camping at the Iron Horse Stables in Northern Arkansas. it's just west of Eureka springs... about where the little tent is on the attached pic.

I figure I'll be spending a day maybe two there... depending on when I leave ND...

anyone in the area wanna ride? camping at the IHS is $9 for a tent... but if need be they have lodges... (depending on the roads maybe rally next year? :idk)

Drewpy? T-Rock? you guys down... I know it's a haul for you drewpy... but come on... what else do you have to do :lol:

I'll be down as long as it is on a Saturday. Oh yeah, you will probably have to stop every 15 minutes and wait another 5 for me to catch up.

yes... I just won't say when... I'd imagine a lot of us regulars will hit 12k... just may take a bit longer for some than others...

I get only 38 mile per day loop of traffic, cops, and road hazards...Every day i have to force myself into the parking lot as my heart and throttle hand try to steer me East into the rising sun on Hwy 16...:panic:

Is this the route you are taking from Springfield to Eureka Springs? A member on SWMO suggested it and I bet a few of them would make the ride down with you if you want company.

That is the worst part of it...Gas stations are few and far between, better have cash cause most don't have debit/credit card ability and Premiuim is real hard to find...Made me wish for some sort of extra fuel capacity on my 636...Even considered a saddle bag/drop tank like setup...

good point... I'll have to set way points for all the gas stations on those routes

I was in that general area earlier this year....Cookson Mountains between Tahlequah, OK and Fayetteville...fantastic time....chewed my rear tire right off though...had to stop in Tulsa on the way home and have a new tire put on for the trip back to Wichita.

Any new guys live in Northern AR, SWMO, or close?
