NE Rally Initial Head Count

Post up if you plan/have any interest in going to Gettysburg Oct. 1-4.
Also, if you're interested in staying in a cottage (beds for 6), or a tent. Need to have an idea what to reserve.

marko138 06-05-2009 03:40 PM

I'll be there...as long as you people dont get anymore jabrone than you already are. And I'm damn sure not staying in a cabin.

Trip 06-05-2009 04:01 PM

I may be up for one night if I have the GS by then.

tommymac 06-05-2009 04:40 PM

Would you guys want to stay at the hotel, I can talk with greco gixxer and see what he can set up for us at the cross keys.

I am up for it and will prolly bring the missus. Apparently she gets upset when I am left on my own and get drunk and bite peoples asses:didntdo:

Tom

CrazyKell 06-05-2009 05:28 PM

We wont get the high mileage award this time though.

Tom

Bluestreak 06-05-2009 08:39 PM

I'm in for at least a day unless I can scare up a street bike for the weekend.

No cabin for me.

Phenix_Rider 06-05-2009 08:53 PM

Good to see people chiming in. I know there are more out there that are interested!

Tommy- what is this cross keys? Doesn't matter to me where we stay, as long as the bikes are close, and most everyone is together.

It the hotel we stay at for the CF rally. its a nice hotel with a big lot out back so the bikes are safe and we can set up camp in the lot at night and not be bothered. And they have karaoke night so we can watch fred belt out the tunes LOL

We have raced pocketbikes back there, sometimes a sprint car crew sets up shop back there since theres a dirt track nearby.

Very cool. About how much does that run a night? Looks less cramped than cabins.

I think around 70 or 80, and you can get 3 or 4 peeps in a room I believe.

Tom

Amber Lamps 06-05-2009 11:14 PM

Only 350 miles this time woot!

derf 06-05-2009 11:15 PM

I paid 50/night last year, but that was with Georges discount.

The hotel is nice, but thats only if we can get the discount we got last year, which was a huge discount, I think it was 50% off.

And I'll sing kareaoke, but I'm still waiting for the video to surface of my rendition of Kryptonite (I was very wasted, mummbled most words, was late on the rest, and wearing a bra), which was awesome.

Derf, shut up. Dumbass.

There will be plenty of time for that without clogging planning threads again. :bash:

Yeh thats what we do for fun.

So to keep this on track, we have a bunch of folks coming, and 2 locations to look at. Tommy, see if you can't get in touch with cross keys and see what George is willing to do.

Gas Man 06-10-2009 04:30 PM

450 miles... I'm there. That's only 2 tanks of gas on my bike!

I don't need a room. Made other arrangements.

Two tanks. :bs: Thats 4 on mine. Oh, and I rolled a nice 51mpg's out of the Buell this weekend.

Rider 06-10-2009 04:43 PM

600 miles? Yeah even if I have my dads V-star by then which I'm sure I will, there is no fucking way. Not for a weekend trip.

Gas Man 06-10-2009 10:57 PM

Who says I'm only going for the w/e? I fully plan on heading out before then.

Gas Man 06-10-2009 11:29 PM

Trip 09-03-2009 02:40 PM

This is right in the middle of the refueling outage. There is word we are working either 4-10s or 6-10s and I got my 4-10 schedule already and I am working wed-sat. So I have sunday/monday/tuesday off, so basically I am fucked on the days you guys are having this. If it is 6-10s, no way I can pull it off. So I am officially out for the Oct 1st-4th time frame.

caveman 09-04-2009 10:42 AM

Sadly, me too.

I may have a wedding (with open bar) to attend. So I may not be going either.

:nono:

caveman 09-04-2009 10:45 AM

Watch NtS crash one...

HokieDNA01 09-04-2009 06:23 PM

Wish I could make it up to that one. It isn't far from my parent's house in Lancaster. Unfortunately it is almost a 700mile ride for me....and that shit sucks even in a car. I really need to by another bike to keep at the parent's house for reasons just like this.

Have fun all!!

700 miles on a gsxr wouldnt be fun either, I rode home from the gap on my TLS and was hurtin for a few days. When I did it on the priller I was fine the next day.

Tom

HokieDNA01 09-04-2009 06:31 PM

I have done 500miles on the GSXr and was ok but to do 700 then ride all weekend then do 700 to get home. Yeah there aight enough monkeybutt powder to make that happen.
