Cornerworking Supplies

If you are cornerworking, you should make sure you have all the items and supplies from the following list:

1. Wear only white clothing and hat.

2. Always bring a cooler full of ice and water or other refreshments and your lunch! You can never have too much water! 5 Gallon water container during Summer recommended.

3. Use sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun and apply during the day more than once.

4. Fastrack Riders does not stop for lunch so corner workers must bring their lunch with them. They hire extra workers to give each corner worker a break during the day. With your food you should have some fresh fruit i.e. banana's (lots of potasium)

5. Always have a jacket and sweatshirt or extra clothing in the event it is cold. Also, get a cheap rain parka or something in the event it does rain so you don’t get soaked till we can get you in under cover. Be prepaired for any type of weather.

6. None of your supplies or gear should be the same color/pattern as any flag.

7. Some form of shade (Freeplay uses and recommends an ez-up)

8. Sun Glasses

9. Fold up chair

10. Bug spray/repellent

11. A towel to soak in melted ice water to put around your neck to cool off

12. Ear plugs just in case it's to loud for you (Remember, you will need ot keep the radio microphone/speaker next to your ear to listen for calls)

Never thought about that, then again, never thought of being a corner worker.

So, your trackday providers don't give you any of that? Hmmmmmmm

I highly recommend bringing a stop-watch, camera and a pad of paper/pen. That way your focus is on the track... and timing people gives you something to do.

You usually get around $100 a day or for two days, I think.
