Sup?

So my happy ass will be in Biloxi, MS for the whole month of March and I'm bringing my 1198 with me...anybody around that wants to show me the good roads, if any?

My trip home I might hang a right at Memphis to hit the Gap...so if you live around there hit me up. That'll be the weekend of 5-6 April though. Once in a lifetime chance, so I gotta do it.

What's up Dlit...

I no longer live 35 miles from the gap, but I am just down in Chattanooga. I would be up for riding with you. You would be better off hitting 65 to 59 or just 59 up towards knoxville to get to the gap than going through Memphis. Save a ton of time.

Cool man. I'll message you if I do end up making the choice to go.

Gas Man 02-04-2014 07:16 AM

Fucking motor blew a bearing. Had it rebuilt, put a couple thousand miles on it, moved to Nebraska and traded it in for an 1198. Holy shit the Duc is so much more powerful. Perhaps an 899 Panigale is in my future in a year or two, I don't need that much power in my life these days.

Hey Dlit! When did you end up in Nebraska? How ya liking it? Still AF?

Trip 02-10-2014 07:35 AM

Awww, the Aprilia was fucking bad ass looking though. Can see getting rid of it after a engine pop though.

Hey there. Ended up here last August. AF moved my ass to this curvy-less fucking state. It's like a gateway for all the winds that enter the US. Holy shit does it get windy here. I hate it. Better for the little one though. He's almost 18 months now.

Trip...riding's off for me. Air Force is only paying me $210 to drive down so I'll be coming out of pockets. Best to leave the bike and trailer here so I'm not getting 10mpg, know what I mean? Sucks.

that sucks, understandable to keep it cheap
