Armour

Who uses it?

What have you got? Brand/Leg/Elbow/etc.

Was thinking about getting some armour for my knees considering I usually ride in jeans on the street. Just looking for some extra protection. :idk:

I use a Dianese back protector. Everything else is built into the jacket and pants.

Suck it.

I wear an icon back protector. My suit has everything built in. When just riding around town I wear the jacket with armor built in, then nothing on my legs.

I just got these...

for when I ride to work. They go over my jeans and fit nicely in my backpack while I am at work. :beers:

I'm surprised you don't know this but I use Icon leg armor. I've had three get offs using it with zero leg damage. I highly recommend it! In fact, I took the crappy armor out of my nylon pants/ jeans and use the Icon instead. Pants, not leathers, tend to be looser and I can easily see the armor being deflected (high/low or left/right)at first impact. Plus the Icon stuff covers much more of the knee area than built in armor. Which puts it in my boots making it basically impossible for it to be "out of position" in a crash. For $60 it's well worth it to me!

I always wear a armored shirt, kidney belt and knee/shin protector if we go dualsporting.

The knee protectors did an excellent job yesterday when I tried to cross two trees at once (I should have known better). Long story short, I took a good spill and dented my knee protector permanently.... I didn't even feel it. The only "injury" I have is a hurting right boob :skep: (my chest plate is cut for men).

I use A-Stars knee, shin guards on the street when I'm not wearing full leathers. I like the T-Pro stuff (have chest protector) and may completely change over the other pieces but the A-stars is cheap and comfortable for the time being.

I pull everything out when I buy gear. It bunches up and never fits right when I leave it in.
