Anybody ever hear of these tires? Good pricing and made in the U.S.A.:pat:

I've seen them down to $180 for a set!

Hmph, I would've bought those instead of the Advance that I did if I had only seen them a week ago.

They look good, and the price is definitely right, but I'd have to know more before I trusted myself to them. I'm really slow to change tire brands- a new manufacturer would have to really impress me to get me to walk away from Michelin. :idk:

I'm not arguing! I want someone else to buy them and let me know!

I'd try some no-name brand on a cage and think nothing of it. There's no way I'm slapping some unknown rubber on my bike, though. Tires are too critical for that. I save money by minimizing the mods, not by skimping on something so essential to keeping me upright.

if I didn't have a stack of tires I got from work that I plugged when people came in with nails in new tires or if I had the $180 to buy some, I would and let you know what I thought about them.

FYI: Unless MTA's (Motorcycle Tires & Accessories) has changed their policy in the last year, they're a distibutor and don't sell to the general public.

Hmmm...odd...they dropped their line of Maxxis street tires.

More info on the tires on their website: http://www.fullboretires.com/

I found a review on a CBR forum. Ack! Owned by VS....I'm not linking.

Anyway, a mechanic on there said that he hasn't used them, but has mounted them on some bikes and the feedback has been pretty good. Wouldn't recommend them for track, but for street, they're more bang for you buck (his words). He says their compound is similar to Shinko's.

Another review I found: http://www.mimag.com/motorcycle_tire...ember_2008.htm

Shinko's are decent tires. BF uses them at the dragstrip, and has still gotten many road miles out of them.

And to cover my backside, I don't exactly know how many miles, I think around 7k. :sorry: :)

hey Tig, i saw these on compacc also and was wondering about them myself.
not any real world reviews on 'em yet.:idk:
