Yeah, I like it.
Looks like old stuff, runs like new stuff.

Wish they offered kits for other donor bikes.

Can't see youtube at work...that's the one based on the Suzuki Savage, right?

Correct.

So...
$1800 (FROM) for kit
$1500 for used donor bike that will likely require more $$$ for the typical wear and tear items.
Time and energy = (whatever $$$ you think your time and energy is worth)

End result is over $3000 on an old Suzuki Savage with a body kit.

Jay Leno said something about "Those without a lot of money" in the video.
This kinda screams hipster to me.
Spend a lot of cash to look broke.

I don't think it's a bad deal... You can take your bike from ordinary, to pretty damn custom over a weekend... and end up with a cool looking bike for $3-4k... and apparently they perform pretty well (all things considered)...

Sadly this comes too late to bring back (and maintain the affordability of) all those old XS, CB, KZ, and GS's that people have chopped up for bobbers/cafes/street trackers.

Any suspension upgrades? Because my Savage handled like a turd. I like the look, though!

I like it, but I'm way too big for a Savage and I'm not really into kits. I'll build my own out of something bigger and make it more personal.
