Might want to give Kat a pm, she seems to go to roebling some.

CasterTroy 10-16-2009 07:35 AM

Is that a tight track or one with generous straight-aways?

(trying to find all the >100mph tracks near me)

Clay 10-16-2009 08:19 AM

Roebling has a LOOOOONG front straight. Liter bikes can top 170. Here's a vid from Caleb's helmet cam...turn off the sound as the wind noise is loud. LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1l7-aJ7CSk

DAYUM! That is a long straight. I'm sure at 170mph is doesn't seem that way, but still.

Turn 9 from entrance to exit is 1/4Mile and the straight after it is another 1/2 mile. Turn 9 is a 90-100+ mph turn so you have a pretty good head of steam going onto the straight. Good fast track.

Looks kind of flat, is it?

Quick281 10-18-2009 12:23 AM

If I still lived down that way I would attend just to watch.

Clay 10-18-2009 10:57 AM

Flat as a pancake. There might be about 10 feet of elevation in the 6/7/8 area, but that's it.

Yes it is, there are mild elevation changes but it is basically
flat. It is a great layout though. The only times I really noticed the elevation changes are when I broke or crashed and had to push the bike with all my gear on, then it resembles the Himalayas...

Think eastern coastal area, flat and sand.
