The Canadian National Series is Hooped

The dates have been released. There are 7 'races.' Six of these 'races' take place during double-header weekends. That's FOUR weekends' worth of national level racing. Of those, one will be at Ontario and the traditional season ender will be in Nova Scotia, not Ontario (at what I generally refer to as my home track) as it has been for many years. In fact there will be no national races at my usual stomping grounds.

On top of that, the series will be over on the first weekend in August. you folks may see more of me down there, this season, than you ever wanted to.

Lost Suzuki and Yamaha as sponsors, so they're scaling back in order to survive.

Tom

They've started the season at 'Bogie the last two years, but not this coming year. This year they'll only be running at Mirabel (Montreal, PQ), Race City (Calgary, AB - still a bit iffy), Mosport (Bowmanville, ON), and Atlantic Motorsports Park (Shubenacadie, NS).

Well, now they can try to survive without my dollars too.

Maybe I will just attend the RACE regionals instead at shannonville.

RACE will be running a 250 Ninja series for kids, where PCSB has CBR125s. They'll be running an endurance race in August. I'm there virtually every round.

Update: Now if you race a R1 or any 2010 model of Yamaha, you can't do it in the Canadian national series.
