Doubtful. You just keep stacking them up. She won't even realize it.

Good plan. Stack a couple tires on top of each other, throw a piece of glass on top and you've got one hell of a table.

Dave 04-13-2010 10:07 PM

i ordered a pair of pilot powers on closeout for around $220 shipped. thats NOT what they sent.

i got a brand spanking new set of Q2 sportmax's :D no change in price, no communication. hoping to get them on before the end of the week. fucking excited. still wish they had a 55 option at checkout but these seem to have a more aggressive profile than my old pilot sports so i wont complain ;)

Sean 04-13-2010 10:32 PM

Anyone finding any DoT race tires for sale? I really need a set, hopefully in a 180 rear...

Sean 04-13-2010 10:50 PM

Anyone have any exp with the Conti Race Attacks? I'm having a bitch of a time finding a DoT 180 rear.

Sean 04-14-2010 09:32 AM

Man, I need a forum where people actually go to the track once in a while.

I go but I am a mere mortal and am still using street tires. Most of my faster buddies use the bridgestone 003's

Cutty72 04-14-2010 10:44 AM

There are quite a few here that go to the track, but most are mainly street riders, and run street tires.
The main racers I can think of on here are CEO, DLIT, anyexcuse2ride, 101lifts, Achren, azoom, and I think Kathrine and the Chi do quite a few td's.

z06boy 04-14-2010 10:48 AM

Comp Acc opened up a new store not too far from here and I need to ride down and check it out.

ontwo 04-14-2010 11:12 AM

STG has the 2ct for $217 shipped

A buddy races with them on his SV. He seems to like them.

Get over the 180's. I was forced to step up to a 190 when I switched from Michelin to Dunlop and I haven't looked back.

Afaik, Michelin and B-stone should still have 180's readily available.

Did you ever try the 003 race compounds? Good tires.

Try the D211 N-tecs in a 190. GREAT tires. Steep pricing but they last forever.

Keep in mind, we are riding the same bike. ;)

I've wondered if the slider pants are decent. I have a pair of Draggin Jeans and I like them. Bought the Utility style...more pockets and looser fitting.

I like the cargo pants for work the extra pockets are good for my stethescope and other goodies. They seemed to get good reviews, but they run a bit small so I ordered a size up.

I will post up when I get them to see how they fit/feel, and hopefully I never put em to the test ;)

Qualifiers he ran not The Dueces, And There not bad. They stuck like a champ at the Gap...And I rode harder there than ever before...Granted i never probably truly "pushed' the tire like trip would...But it def did great.

I think you'll like The Dunlops...Funny, I ran Dunlops for ever now Im switching to Michelin's...Lol

I am biased against dunslops, I had an old d207 way back when and hated it and never went back. Plus i am happy with the michelins and pirellis. I was going to try bridgestones for the track this year but then saw better deals on pilot powers. got hooked up with 3 sets of powers and one set of roads for 7 and change :rockwoot:

I have 190 GPas. Love love the grip and feel but don't like the profile on my 5.25 rear. I can't find a retailer, either locally or online that will sell me the BT003 race compounds, they keep showing up with RSes, which I've run at the track and found myself slipping around like crazy on. I'm not really a fan of Michelin prices. Thanks though.

I thought of the GP-A's after I posted. Those are probably a better buy for you than the 211's.

PM 101lifts.

He had a guy selling the 003's (race compound I believe) for crazy low prices.

If you are stuck on the 180's the B-stones are a good tire for the price.

Yeah I'm not racing. I think I know where 101 gets his rubber so I ordered from them. They're far, but they'll ship, so I ordered a set of 003s. Race tires are expensive.

Got the pants today. I ordered a 38x36 since some reviews said they run small and my inseam is between 34 and 36 inches. They seem to ft prety well but will def need a belt. It feels little short in the seat if that makes sense but I sat on the bikes with them and the felt comfortable.

I want to see if they have the other 2 colors in that size and if they do I will prolly pick them up
