Shaggin' wagon.

No threads in Cage Hell since December, 2013? Jesus...

Well, if anything can revive the forum, it's the Golden Sex Machine:

I do believe we need a shot of the acreage of the back shaggin' area!

Honestly though, I really like the OLD station wagons from the 60's and especially the earlier ones! I'm a Ford guy but, I'd take a Nomad over a regular Bel-Air anyday!

Does that bad boy have the 3.1 or the 2.2?

It's a 92, it pre-dates the 2.2L. 2.5L with the ever-popular TH125 3-speed automatic.

Honestly, I just needed something with a roof rack.

Ahh...
You have gone full retro lol
Family friend had the sedan with the 2.5. I think it was a 91.
They owned it for about 8 years (maybe more) and were the second owners.
They never changed the oil. The logic they used was that if the oil was low, they added oil hence there was no need for oil changes.

A few years later, around 2010-ish my step father picked up 3.1 equipped Century. I think it was a 94.
That car impressed the hell out of me. Everything worked. AC was awesome. Was expecting a shitbox and the thing was solid as a rock. Made the perfect grandpa car.

I love the retro. I have a 90 6000LE that when I traded it in, had 287,000 miles on it with the 3.1L V-6. It still got 27mpg at 80mph and I would have drove it cross country. Never opened the motor or the trans short of filters and oil. Sure it had new other stuff, like water pumps, radiators, brakes, alternator, etc... but otherwise it was an awesome steed. Kinda miss it.

Wagon. I still feel embarrassed when my mom used to pick me up in one at school.
