Which leathers do you wear?

So I'm in the market for either a new one or two piece set of leathers for track days. I been looking at the Octane series suit by Alpinestars but I'm not sure 100% yet. So what leathers do you guys own, what was the price, durability, comfort, fit, etc, and would you purchase the same ones over again?

I think I have the octane, it held up well at 108 mph. It's a little hot in the summer, but overall is pretty comfortable.

I wear Alpinestars because my husband is still wearing the two piece suit he low sided in at Streets of Willow. :dthumb:

I don't know the name of the suit. He bought it about 5 years ago. :idk:

Mine are Stella Alpinestars so I am sure you could care less about the details.

I was going to go with Alpinestars, but they don't fit me correctly. Any Alpinstars suit that fit my chest was a good 4" too big in the waist. The Joe Rocket GPX is what fit me, so that's what I bought.

Fieldsheer... Fit ok, a little long in the pants, but I'm fat so that's to be expected... comfortable, but I have nothing to reference them to... best $120 I've spent.

So far only Dainese.

I'm wearing a Teknic Chicane 1-piece leathers from NewEnough.com. I got em for about $300 on clearance. My best guess is Teknic makes gear for skinny euros which is fine by me since I'm pretty short and thin. But if you have a belly 4" or more bigger than you waist or large calves and thighs you might want to get a size bigger than you usually get. The full perf suit is great for the hot weather and it has CE armor in the knees, shins, hips, elbows, shoulders, and back. No speed hump though if that's a big deal for you.

I've got a Teknic Chicane 2 piece. Never been down in it. But I've seen pics of people who have....so I'm confident it will hold up well.

I'd buy it again. It was relatively cheap and appears to be well made.

I have seen people complaining about the seams blowing out on the chicanes. Someone local had it happen to them.
