This is why I always split to the front when cars stop.

And a Gixxer rider wearing a jacket gloves AND boots. I'm impressed.

I never said I saw a phone, but when do you hold your keys up to your ear like this? Commom sense FTW.

I personally didnt take the time to go frame by frame...And honestly in realtime...I cant see that bc it happens to quick for me.

But more power to you for proving your point.

I also didnt say she wasnt on her phone...It wouldnt suprise me if she was eating lunch and doing makeup along with the phone call.

Yeah so is speeding, wheeling and racing on mountain roads. Are you going somewhere with this?redflip

Personally, I don't see a reason to commute via motorcycle unless you are doing it for the gas mileage or you get to split lanes. Stopping behind cars makes you a sitting duck IMO, so the fuel economy savings better offset the risk.

I completely agree that it is a dangerous position for motorcyclists. Im not arguing that. What im saying is that it is very OBVIOUS in a state that doesnt allow it. Just like U turns. Even cagers get all weird around here when you do shit like that, like your jumping them in the lunch line.

Not that any of the aforementioned activities are any more or less legal, it's just that it's harder to avoid notice when you're stuck at a light in a conspicuous position. (eg. sitting between lanes at the head of the line)

I'll have to check this one out when I get to the house.

Maybe I missed it, but no one seems to have mentioned the one big no no he committed by stopping where he did. I dont know about ya'lls MSF, but mine taught me to stop towards one side or the other, while watching my mirrors and giving me an out, and to never trap myself in btw vehicles risking getting crushed. Granted this crap happened so fast you'd probably not have been able to get outta the way anyway.

She still sucks balls for what she did, and I hope the dude was okay.

Looks to me like he stopped on the right side of the vehicle, and might have had time to escape if he had an extra few second warning, but her stopped and got slammed. He was a little close to thee car in front of him, but hindsight is 20/20. Really it just happened too fast
