06 r6

Im looking at an 06 stock r6 with 3k miles on it pretty clean problem is it has been sitting for about 6 mos. It just needs fluids changed a possibly a new battery, what would be reasonable KBB says 7k but KBB doesnt reflect on our economy at this time. What is a reasonable low offer that is not insulting?

a reasonable offer would be anything your willing to pay... if you think 7g's is a good deal for the bike... give him 7g's... if you say 5... offer 5...

but I doubt dude is gonna care what the economy is like when you offer him $... it's either gonna be too low for him or you'll have a new bike... ya know?

especially as in THIS ECONOMY the MSRP prices of the NEW 600's is higher than it was last year.

Id probably offer the guy 6 grand and see what he says.

Look the bike over, have a bit of general bike convo with him so you can see what kind of person he is, ask why he's selling it, ask him what he NEEDS (not wants, or would like, etc., but NEEDS) to get for it, hem and haw and see if he'll possibly take a bit less...

The fact that it has been sitting is very minor. $7k's reasonable, I would offer $6,500.
