Yawn.

To be fair, he had a good reason. Maybe it's my fault that I didn't get a backup or two lined out. This person was on a list of people specifically who had volunteered to do this very thing, so I didn't feel it was necessary. Life happens I guess.

The BMW rocks. the Schuberth is awesome and the Sena performs far better than I expected. Very pleased with all of the additions I made.

It's my goal to turn everyone into a BMW Schuberth Sena rider, LOL.

You should still ask him to write up something explaining he was your signature person and was unable to make it do to other circumstances. Just adds validity to your ride. Least he can do for bailing.

Did 700 miles from San Diego to Gallup, New Mexico today. The last 180 miles here from Flagstaff were in sub 40 temps. I sure was glad to have my heated gear! I had no idea it was that cold until I checked when I got here.

Early start tomorrow for another 650 miles, and I should be home in time for dinner. :)

Have fun, sounds like it

Congrats on the ride. That's one hell of a jaunt.

Welcome to the Colorado Plateau: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Co...teaus_map.png. Average elevation is about 6,000 feet, but Flagstaff is 7,000.

Another great trip would be to visit every National Park and Monument on the Colorado Plateau. Arches, Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef, Grand Canyon.....Zion. that should be on everyone's bucket list.

I've been to a few of those, but not all. That would be cool. It was 27 degrees this morning when I left Gallup. Way glad for heated gear!

I'm home now. 6000 or so miles on the week. Not too shabby. Back to work tomorrow. *boo*

Hell there are a lot of national parks in the west are on my bucket list, removed a bunch on my trip last year, but want to go back to some of them. Acadia is the last one on my list on the east coast and did the ones in Alaska I wanted to do when I lived up there.
