You do the () calculation first, then what's its next to, then what ever is left over.


48 / 2(9+3)=

48 / 2(12)=

48 / 24=



10 x (8 / 2) =

10 x (4) =

10 x 4 = <---You dont really need to show this step but I had anal teachers

2(12) is the same as 2 * 12 and multiplication and division are done at the same time so it goes left to right

48/2*12
