Time slips??

Anyone here drag their bike? I'm just curious, as this is very popular in my kneck of the woods. I haven't had the chance to run the 929 but I do have a few slips on the Can-a-tuna and I can't find any from my old Radian.

I didn't think it was too bad for a '93 model bike, and my buddies '04 GSX-R 600 only ran like a 7.9-8.1 :dthumb:

DNYCE has a drag bike I think.

I'm talking straight street rides on the strip. I would also be interested in seeing slips on pure drag bikes too. Like I said, we don't have a whole lot to do around here, hence the draggin' on Thursday nights. :D

I'm pretty sure he's a legit drag racer...not some street hooligan.

You calling me a street hooligan?? :panic: :ps: Really though, is it bad to drag your street ride? I don't make a habit of it, but I have done so quite a few times. :idk:

um how about a little 350cc Yamaha. Not really a street bike and a long time ago, but what the hell. Not the quickest pass it ever made, but I could still find the paper.

Was that by any chance on an RD?? I'd give my left nut for one of those in good shape. My dad had one back in the day and that SOB was fast as hell......to about 100.

It started out like that. Yes, it was an RD350. They are neat little bikes. I've had a slew of them from the R5 to the RD400, but most were the RD350. They really rail with a few mods. When I got through Drag Racing I took the same engine, built a Road Race chassis and used it for a track tool for 3+ years. It is really fun to put it on newer sport bikes with a 30 year old 350...

you dragged an RD350? No shit, a buddy of mine used to drag an RD350 back in the day.

EDIT: Just looked it up, he had that thing do a friggin 11.08 at 118 mph! But it was hardly an RD anymore. Set a couple nat'l records with it.
