bad fuel, maybe.....make sure he didn't put diesel in the thing on accident... the low octane gases do that to my buell sometimes, sputter, hesitation, backfiring....

plus the gas companies are...

If i weren't with those, i'd go back to Pirellis.....never had a problem with the Scorpion Synchs that i had on there..

By far one of the best things you can do to start off....and the simplicity of the Buell machines makes it a cinch for adjustment (provided you have a shop manual).
