I got a reply... turns out the 260 that chatterbox's web page is for the unit only.... it's 400 for the unit with all the wiring for a full face helmet.

so there it's a fuck'n bad ass discount.

the only issue is with the wire(s) you have to disconnect them when you get off the bike or take off your helmet (if you have the wire(s) run through your jacket) my head phones were annoying enough...
