All I meant was that if you are prepared you have a chance in hell of putting a chain back together on the side of a trail. Not so much with a belt.

Mine is a chain drive.

My girlfriend had a Versys until her husband totaled it. (He is fine even after she got a hold of him) She loved that bike!

I think I am on my way. I have not rode my Duc since I got the GS in November but the weather here has not been real Duc worthy until recently. :lol: This thread is making me feel a little old...
