I sold my SV front end for $500 and the gixxer one cost $500 so it was a direct trade off. So, yes you could say it was free...

My friend I bought it off of is definately going above and beyond to...

Found this on the SV forum...

"Put bike on swingarm stand (if you have one).
Loosen the top (and just the top) triple clamp pinch bolts that clamp around the fork tubes as well as the handlebar...

With my handle bars straight, my wheel isn't.

I turned my bars to the steering stop.
Loosened the lower triple
Held the tire where it needed to go
Tightened the bolt back up but didn't help.
