A lot of people seem to think that "full gear" equates to jacket, gloves, and helmet. Seemed like a reasonable question to me.

My commute is in heavy traffic and 30 miles or so each way, but I still wear either an Aerostich suit, full leathers, or occasionally a JR mesh jacket and ballistic pants. The last is a rarity...

Full gear means FULL gear. That means every part of you is covered with some purpose-made piece of protective clothing. Jeans and jean jacket just doesn't cut it, by my definition.
