It all depends how hard you ride...

If you're a really aggressive canyon carver / kneedragger then any of the dual-compound street tires are a good compromise between mileage and performance (DCIII, 2CT, BT016, etc.). I personally like the DCIII's better than the michelins. I'll admit I've never ridden the bridgestones.

If you ride any less aggressively then that, don't waste your money... get sport touring / harder compound stuff.

Some people like the peace of mind of having a stickier tire... but I am of the opinion that it's a waste of cash... 0.001% of people on the street are approaching their tire's abilities... It's all the rider.
