Stupid feature = the *friendly* beep beep of the stock horn if you want it. What? If I'm hitting my horn, it's not a gentle reminder, it's a HEY I'M HERE YOU ASSHOLE kinda thing.

Interestingly enough, BMW owners tend to be our most common customers. Also, when you do the math, a current model Wolo horn is about $60-70 bucks, plus the $22 wiring harness brings you to around $80-90 bucks plus shipping and you don't get the dual horn ability.
Also the system isn't by any means a "weak-ass horn" it's rated at 139db out of the trumpet. That's the equivalent of a jet engine's afterburners at 30 meters which is definitely not very "weak" sounding.
You can hear just how loud it is
compared to a stock horn here. The first sound that you hear is the stock horn just before the Banshee kicks in.
That being said, you don't always want your horn to wake up the whole neighborhood. There are many times where an air horn would be inappropriate. That's what makes the system the best of both worlds. However of course, the system is not for everyone. That's why the horn is available by itself without the control unit too.
