I have a '77 ( with a map pocket on the passenger side dash
) directly beihind the driver's seat in it's compartment is the battery. There are two compartments next to them, a small center and behind the passenger seat, a battery sized one.
Under the rear deck is your "luggage" space or a spot big enough for two T tops ( but not both luggage and T tops
)

I suggest corvette forum as your "how to" resourse. There ar planty of knowledgable people over there. I would suggest getting an assembly manual too. You can probably find one in the C3 for sale/wanted section.
