Why are we doing this ride?
Jay Kortes [the week before his 47th birthday] was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS); most commonly known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”. ALS is progressive disease that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. As you can tell, his life and family [including wife Mary and teenage daughter Amy] are in for a big change. Due to this unfortunate situation and the overwhelming medical bills we are doing a charity ride in his honor. All proceeds from this ride will go directly to help with his medical bills and to make his house more accessible to his needs.

Costs: $5.00 includes lunch at end point
$5.00 optional poker run
50/50 tickets optional - $1 for 1, $5 for 6, $10 for 15
Silent Auction option at end point
All other donations are welcome as well
Details of Ride: Riding from Novi Bowl to end point of Plymouth Township Park for lunch – 2 routes – one for those on Poker Run with stops for cards and one for those just riding – will try to limit groups of riders with control riders to groups of 10-20 only for safety reasons
