If it's obiviously political/religious it goes into the war room. If it is just regular news, it can start life here if you want it here or go straight to the war room if you want to go ape shit.
News articles that get posted in news desk are not subject to the same freedoms as war room. We are being nice right now and moving them. Eventually that will change to you must be aware of what subforum you are in. People who post in news desk as if it were war room will not be tolerated.
Basically the news desk is mostly for members who aren't part of the war room to discuss news worthy events without the douchebagginess of the war room.
