I suppose a paranoid person would pay cash, except for the fact that at the toll booth, your plate is photographed, and presumably run immediately the moment you access the highway anyway...so perhaps it's of little consequence either way in regards to privacy...but one does have to wonder exactly which day they will suddenly decide to start comparing your on-ramp and off-ramp times to just mail you speeding tickets...but I digress... |
I can see them doing that in joisey since there are tolls everywhere. In NY it smostly just yto cross bridges or the tolls on 9y getting in and out of the state, and there are still a few toll free crossings, unless bloomberg has his way.
