I don't live in the city, I take back curvy roads 30 mins to work everyday usually without another car in sight. I don't think I'll ever be back to sport bikes unless I buy one strictly for the track

Sucks about the R6 man. The Duke and Duc don't seem like they have much in the way of travel hookups other than a pilion bag. Nothing in the way of hard stuff.

Well sat on a bunch of bikes today and still not certain. The Ducati hypermotard seating position made me feel like I was back on the R6. Maybe a different set of handlebars can fix it. I got offered out the door for one with Arrow pipes for 10,500.
Also sat on the the 990 KTM Adventure. This bike is to most comfortable I've sat on. Too bad the lowest I could get the price was 14,500 out the door. BTW the invoice price for them is 12,500, he showed be on the ordering system. $2000 more in bullshit was more than I can afford. Talking about labor and shit like he pays shit for that. There is a demo day for the Ducati's in Harrisburg tomorrow, but I'm headed to Pittsburgh. Lame The search goes on.

Just buy a DL650 or DL1000. Prolly get one for 8000 OTD. Bulletproof motor and transmission.

Well after reading more about the hypermotard, it's just a sportbike styled to look like a motard. No one uses them offroad, they have sportbike suspension and tire sizes which no one makes dirt oriented tires for. Plus nothing is protected, so rocks and anything picked up by the tires would tear up the bike.
