That is true. But with HD aquiring MV Agusta which I guess you could consider a Ducati competitor that maybe Ducati is going on the attack now instead of later. Or go on the attack before the HD bankroll puts MV Agusta more mainstream.

I would love to see some #'s on that and why they would go after the HD Vrod. Till now the Vmax was the most powerfull production bike built. If this has more power it shouldnt be compaired to already dethroned Vrod.
It should have went for the Vmax. At 197.5 HP and 120ftlb torque.

Its easy to see why they call out the Vrod. Both are long, low, fat tired non-turnable bikes that are meant for the drag strip.
