About the same. But since my riding buddy moved, I don't do any long rides. All my rides are by myself and usually around 30 miles or so. Depending on the weather, I try and get a ride in every day.
Met a guy on a Ducati 848 EVO on Thursday. He was a combat medic in Afghanistan, and is studying to be a physician's assistant. Saved all his money and paid cash for the bike. He's read Total Control and both Twist of the Wrist books. We compared Afghanistan and Vietnam, and rode together down Lookout Mountain. He said he rides before classes and maybe we'll meet again. At my age, it would be nice to ride with a medic. |

I joined the forum before I had the bike and have been commuting since I got it. I can't afford long trips yet. I'm hoping that will change once I take my ICND2 test this Friday.. must get job.. must do stuff besides whine about wanting to do stuff..

Technically I ride more per annual miles. However, I ride less days...
After getting my Ultra and doing cross state weekend trips... I don't enjoy riding around town as much. I just turn a few miles between my road trips... they mean nothing to me compared to the road trips. |

Less currently. Living on my parents farm with a ton of gravel road construction on the way to work will not make commuting fun. Plus dealing with the house sale and looking for a new one have taken up a lot of my free time.
Oh, and the fact that my bike was in two pieces for a couple weeks |

Those of you taking longer trips, what rain gear do you have?

The same... but that's not really a good thing.
I think I've put more miles on my bicycle than I have on my motorcycle in the last year.

After I look at things, I technically ride more now than when I joined this forum since I didn't have a bike at that time. However, since this was a spinoff of that which shall not be named and has all the cool kids from that site, I was considering my riding time compared to when I joined up back there.

Less street (currently 0 miles for the year).
More track (at least one weekend a month).
