jesus fucking christ - changing your name to "Lucky" is very appropriate. I too was thinking like a wheel was effed up or something but that's just... wow

Glad you and your GF were able to walk away uninjured. Hopefully she was just shaken up and will get over it as soon as she's had the chance to process it fully.

so after all of it has settled, the gf is still refusing to talk to me, i am just giving her space and not trying to contact her...

its not helping im watching the new grays anatomy where the chick gets into a car accident... FML

I am fine, other then the guilt of having a passenger, esp. when it was someone i loved, she is fine other then shot nerves, but its the thought that it could of been worse, we really just slid along a fence that was like 7 feet from the road and never had a impact, just lateral friction as it slide along the vegation and debris, and earth

Glad to hear that you're ok, have fun parting with insurance. And good luck with the gf.

i was offered 8,600 from the insurance company before they take a look at the modification list and the recipets i have, so here is to hoping they throw a little more in because of it, i sent them $7,780 from the engine swap and another $1,500 for the upgraded clutch, so who knows, i might be able to turn around and buy a decent jeep with the rest of it and be with out a car note, which would be really nice

When you've never been in a situation that puts your life or safety at risk (even the perception thereof which is what happened here, I think) it can be quite a shock!

I would think riding on the back of his bike would have already given her an idea of the kind of shock she's in for involving herself with him and motorized vehicles.
