Uh yeah.. a 600lb dirt bike. Try a 50hp, 230lb wet dirt bike. A la CRF450R.

well I hit 85 on my DRZ on gravel/dirt roads... it's got 39hp...

and the Dakar 650 I followed hit 95... but didn't want to leave me...

(all GPS readings for speed)


but yes... a CRF450 or a RMZ450 will hit 100mph easy

Yea I was gonna say that my '04 DRZ would do 80 mph no problem... Granted, it's not 100 mph but for the $8,000+ and couple hundred pound difference he can have the extra 20 mph!!!

shit you could throw in a 470 stroker kit and hit 50 or 60hp... 100mph would be EASY.


not knock'n on the 990.... it's a kick ass bike... but if you're talk'n about speed there are lighter more agile bikes that'll do that.

Probably if it was geared for it but not with OEM gearing.
