It just about bricked my phone. It spent a day and a half trying to update and killed my battery after 4 or 5 hours. I could not figure out how to stop it, and if I reset the phone it would just start downloading again. When I finally figured out how to stop it from downloading, my google play would not open, facebook, keyboard, chrome, dolphin and a handful other programs all stopped. The phone was able to receive incoming calls and send text typed by voice but nothing else.

I had to do a factory reset, and now all is good again.

Just got Jelly Bean pushed to my Bionic, way smoother UI than the previous verson and Google Now is pretty nice. I like it.

For the first time ever, I'm actually on the hype train for a phone.
Patiently waiting for Samsung S4 to hit verizon.

Time to retire the HTC Incredible.

I just got a used Galaxy Note 2 from eBay and Ive only had it about half a day but its pretty awesome so far. Way faster and smoother than my Droid Bionic and a ton more features even after the JB update. I spent all last week in a training class where the only thing I had to keep myself entertained was my old phone which failed miserably so i decided it was time to upgrade.

Im in the same boat. I cant get a discounted upgrade from Verizon so I bought a used one from a third party. You have to pay full price but Verizon recently announced that they will be letting people buy a device for the retail price and adding the price to your monthly bill like a payment plan which is another option.
