I used to have the LP stands too. They are just flimsy and not very well made. Although,I think LP uses a better supplier now. BTW I have Suzuki front and rear stands if anyone wants them,I went and bought Vortex stands.

Despite the Pit Bull fans, I am going to take the cheaper route for once with the T-rex set. I will be sure to share my opinion on them, but I have confidence in the other forum member's opinions for now.
No problem... I still try to stay in touch with the sportbikes.

though I'm think'n he'd still would have been better off $ wise by stay'n with the 9... even if he got like 10 wreckless driving tickets it'd still be under 50k
You as well are correct!

Just like Tigger said... they were flimsy, they rusted, the knobs that kept them together broke off. aka They sucked!

fork style, the "pivoting pin type" it works good and is reasonably stable. I just wanted a triple tree stand. $50 plus shipping sounds fair,I think. I'd sell front and rear for oh $80 plus just to get rid of them.....

Hmmm...thats a solid deal. Although I'd really like the triple style. I might be interested in the front. Give me a day or so to ponder.

Thought I would go ahead and conclude this thread.

Went with T-Rex and I couldn't be happier. Much better bang for the buck then the Pit Bull stands which I was able to see in person at a local shop. Certainly not a knock on the quality of Pit Bull, but rather the price!

Don't have a much better picture of them but I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Went with what CEO recommended and I got everything plus the required spools for the price of one Pit Bull stand. Tom at T-Rex was also very prompt in answering any of my questions.

I will recommend these to anyone that ever asks.
