This causes accidents, people stay in the fast lane going under the limit, forcing others to pass on the right = accidents.
In Germany you'll get pulled over with a quickness for not staying in the right lane when not passing, even if you're doing 150+ on the derestricted parts.
99% of the time the people in the fast lane going too slow are on a cell phone.

I don't hesitate to flash my brights, I rarely pass on the right. Tailgating isn't necessary, staying a couple car lengths back with your brights on will give almost anyone the hint.

Just because you're doing 5 over doesn't mean you belong in the fast lane.

SLOWER traffic! Speeding or not! I can't tell you how many times I have to flash someone to get their attention that I want to pass them.

I drive about 800 miles every weekend and you'd be surprised how many people park in the fast lane doing 72 miles per hour. Seriously? *grumble*

I usually set the cruise on 80-85.

our local police decided they were going to crack down on this last spring. I have yet to see a single person get pulled over for it.

I hate passing in the right lane. I normally get behind them and turn on my left blinker. At night I will flash my brights.
