That's what my cousin's race team does. You have to know someone at a dealership to do this obviously, but they sponsor you in exchange for leasing the bike. It's a lot cheaper than trying to buy a new one every year.

Where do you think those old race bikes from honda/yamaha of troy come from?

they are still in businesss but with the pop up of online stores they are pretty much a bare bones operation now, before they were the biggest parts place since you could just call in and find it and they would ship it out, now everyone can seemingly get you anything

exactly, thats what they do. The dealership sponsors riders, the race teams still don't get the bikes for free from the dealership. It's pretty much like a lease agreement. They give the bikes back when they are done.

That's kind of like Babbits here in Muskegon. You can buy 1 yo Area Cross race bikes already race preped.
