No no no. The 636 trans is junk. The 07-08 is the hands down winner in every single mag. Plus I've road an 07 R6 and am sure the 6R will outbreak any of the other SS's of its year as well as having a butter smooth trans.

ahh ok... well for what it's worth I don't read the comparisons in the mags... it seems they'll rave about a bike in one aspect then the next dis it in the same area even if the bike was unchanged...
there isn't much between any of them anyways... but I was going off what I've read from people post'n up about them... course I didn't pay attention to if was a 636 or not. |

Let's see...next year seems to have several choices that I rather like:
Ducati Streetfighter - this is the first only Duck that interests me in quite some times. Aprilia RS125 fully tricked out by AF1 Racing in New Braunfels, Texas - I'll see how far AF1 can go with this bad boy. Husky 510R supermoto - I've been having a hankering for a motard. Buell 1125CR - I do want to go American but I'll have to see if the quality and the fuel injection issues are worked out. KTM Venom - easily the baddest naked bike to be soon available but I don't know if it will make it to the US by 2009. We shall see.

I'm leaning towards the Specialized Epic Expert Carbon...depending on how much I save before making the purchase. Ohhhhh - you meant motorcycle, oh well.

Next bike will most likely be a motard of some sort... been wanting one forever... Prolly a DRZ-400SM...
Then, after someone surgically removes the TLR from my cold dead hands, an 1125CR... |

Well I love the bike I have but I wouldn't mind getting another 06-08 GSXr for the track (a salvaged title one so I won't cry as much if it goes down). I would also really like a motard. I just have a lot of trouble getting my short legs over one so I'm not sure which kind I would like. Any suggestions. I think Yamaha just came out with a 250 motard, Just wish it didn't have a 35+ inch seat height.
