It's a shame you couldn't integrate the humidistat with the new thermostat. I wonder if they make an affordable all-in-one?

i think the wires are there for it, but not sure if there is control for it. a lot people been telling me i should leave it.

spent the last 4 days busting my ass on my house. i am ready for my upcoming vacation!
pics coming shortly in wall speaker system 99% done walls patched , sanded and ready for primer , 80% done. removal of "grandma's window treatment" done. paint samples purchased , applied, paints selected. done. removal of glass sliding doors. done. removal of sliding door frames (which rest on an, internal / external concrete wall. done. however the last one left a whole new side project: filling in the gaping holes in the archways (2x) with joint compound. first coat applied. and in the meantime, toilet broke, sink doesnt drain because there is no drain stopper and H dropped a toothpaste cap down it. im surprised it took a year for one of us to drop something.... so, new toilet fill valve. done. new toilet lever, that doesnt flop around. done. cut away old glued sink trap and replace with removable one. done. install new sink drain stopper. done. total so far $1004.29

I didn't realize you were removing the sliders. Are you putting in French doors or just making them passage ways? Is the Florida room insulated well enough for that? What about the sliders to your room, did you take those out too?

leaving it open, its a very nice feel, and keeps that room cooler (rest of house temp). better for computing and the fishtank as well. leaving the sliding door on the bedroom.
