Yep. Our state House just passed a ban. No idea if or when the state Senate will take it up.

Cell phone driving laws but not using a cell phone while driving. There have been plenty studies done that show using a cell phone while driving affects response time. And it's just common sense - when you're multi-tasking, you can't pay 100% attention to either activity.

Correct. But there has been no reduction in crashes since these laws have been put on the books.
